CMM Yacht Service can provide a wide range of services thanks to its qualified staff, trained in highly specialized departments of the nautical sector.
CMM Yacht Service has a great structure of about 12.000 square meters, 500 of which destined to offices and showroom, with a wide exhibition of materials such as leathers, textiles for furniture, teak, steels, and paint samples.
CMM, moreover, has its own spray booth, which can contain boats up to 115 feet long; we operate reinstatements and painting works for interiors, as well as for exteriors, in order to be able to satisfy our customers’ needs for a total renewal of their yachts.
Relying on an internal department for painting, CMM can develop painting samples and tests to make the shipowner’s choice easier.
PAINTING PERSHING 62
Pershing 62, of 2005, had visible spots on the hull and on the deck of the yacht. These flaws had been caused by previous low-quality maintenance, which provoked the skinning of the transparent varnish, due to an overheating in the polishing stage.
From the pictures above you can see on the superstructure of the ship, the spots in which the paint had completely came off.
WORKING STAGES:
– Evaluation of the intervention by CMM Project Manager and the technicians, to verify the entity of the works and to plan the working stages.
– Transport of the ship to the shipyard and collocation of the boat into the spray booth.
– Wet-sanding and crack-filling of the boat. This stage removes the imperfections of the surface, which is leveled. After the preparation and the treatment of the surface, we proceeded with the application of the base.
– Yacht painting and polishing
– Ship Delivery
CMM installed a led lighting system and in the cockpit, making it more comfortable and welcoming.
PERSHING 62/12
The painting of Pershing 62 was realized at CMM Yacht Service, within the spray booth containing boats up to 120 feet long.
The original color of the Pershing 62 was white in the deck, black in the band, and silver in the hull.
After some color tests on demonstrative samples, the owner decided to completely change the colors of his ship, choosing to paint the hull and the superstructure in pearl silver, and to make the waterline in red.

REINSTATEMENT OF ENGINE ROOM AND REPLACEMENT OF MUFFLER
The engine room and the muffler are the heart of a yacht, so it is very important that their whole reinstatement be done to the highest standard, so to allow a perfect efficiency of the plants and a totally safe navigation.
CMM assistance relies on a highly trained technical staff, specialized in the refitting and the maintenance of the engine room and its machinery.
Lately, CMM technicians have operated the reinstatement of an engine room on a Pershing 64, situated in Bodrum, Turkey.
The need for CMM assistance intervention was due to a short-circuit provoked by a defective quay socket, which caused a fire in the engine room and consequently, required the replacement of the muffler.
From the following pictures you can see the state of the muffler before its replacement, as well as the whole engine room, with all the operation the technicians had to do in order to achieve the greatest outcome in the shortest time possible.
At first the staff from CMM had to dismantle the door of the boat, then they could unload the engines, the power generators, the desalination plant and the air conditioning unit.
The short-circuit, besides damaging the muffler and make its replacement necessary, blackened the entire engine room and damaged some minor parts which the technicians had to fix on-the-spot.
The sound insulating material covering the whole room was heavily damaged in the accident, and it had to be completely replaced, to guarantee the safety standards required by Ferretti Group and maintain the value of the product.
Below you can see the entity of the damage of the insulation material as the CMM technicians intervened, and the new insulation installed onto the yacht.
The engine room was dismantled and treated against powders and other agents appeared during the fire, then it was painted with a gel coat, which brought it back to its original condition.
It was only after restoring the engine room and bringing it back to its best condition that we proceeded with the reinstallation of the plants removed and when necessary, fixed.
The totality of the operations took approximately one month, when CMM assistance worked with the highest concern and professionalism, achieving the best results.

SOFTPACK is the perfect accessory for AIRPORT CLASSIC! It will provide you with a very comfortable seatback and it has 3 storage compartments to keep drinks cold and objects dry. Its adjustable bands and buckles allow SOFTPACK to be positioned in a few seconds. It can also be used anchored.

REFITTING PERSHING 88
REFITTING of a PERSHING 88 of 2004, the new shipowner addressed CMM Yacht Service for the totality of the ship renovation works and improvements.
CMM and its interior architects team presented projects for several refitting solutions, suggesting materials and arrangements, and discussing different possible solutions with the owner. The priority was the exterior restyling of PERSHING 88: varnishing, steel polishing, shoring up of the external flank for removal of corrugations, removal of the old teakwood and laying of the new staves cover. We projected and realised a led lighting system for the bow, the old external cushions were replaced and the bow was covered with a Bimini top.
PERSHING 88 was painted by CMM Yacht Service, in the spray booth, which can contain boats up to 120 feet long. The original color was silver with band and waterline in blue.
The hull and the superstructure were entirely painted inside the main booth, while the other parts were dismantled and separately painted and polished, before being reinstalled.
The final color, chosen by the owner, is pearl white with metal grey waterline.
The on-board equipment resembles in color the cushions and the waterline, as well as the Jet ski and the water motor.
The teak cover was completely substituted, a parquet was laid on the deck. The cushions were refined on the new models by Pershing
A double navigation system was installed, together with a thermo-camera for day and night vision and the video security camera in the stern.
