How to eliminate your yacht or boat roll?

The <strong>systems of the gyroscopic stabilizer Seakeeper</strong> latest generation have the following characteristics:
– Eliminate virtually at zero and low speed roll, working anchor and navigation
– Do not require cutting through-hull, thus eliminating the hydrodynamic resistance, and the possibility of damage of any external appendages on the hull.
– Dimensionally compact, offering flexible installation options while consuming minimum power;

Among the advantages of this system there is also that of being able to place where you want on the boat according to needs of the design, and even after the construction of the same.
Seakeeper is a computer controlled gyroscope that eliminates most boat roll, including the fatigue, anxiety, and seasickness that go with it.
Typically, the Seakeeper weighs between 2% – 4% of boat weight, half or less the power of air conditioning, and fits in available space in the back half of the boat.
Our models can accommodate boats over 30′. They can be installed virtually anywhere on board. This flexibility means that approximately 25% of the units we ship are installed aftermarket.
<strong>How It Works</strong>
Inside a vacuum encapsulation, a flywheel spins at speeds of up to 9,700 rpm. When the boat rolls, the gyro tilts fore and aft (precesses), producing a powerful gyroscopic torque to port and starboard that counteracts the boat roll.

Installing Seakeeper Stabilizer on Pershing 70
Among the advantages of this system also the possibilities to fit it in all space available on your boat according to the design phase requirements even after build.
CMM Yacht Service has installed Seakeeper on one of its Pershing 70 models.
Seakeeper has been designed to have a roll reduction on boats from 70 to 90%. More units can be mounted on bigger boats, arranged in different points of it. Low power consumption is required for Seakeeper; it has no external appendages and can be mounted off the centerline if required. Its computer control as well as the vacuum technology makes of Seakeeper the first really functional modern anti-roll gyroscope.

The owner is a CMM customer for years, he bought the Pershing 62 about a decade ago and at the end of each summer he turns to us who rely on us for ordinary maintenance.
Last winter when he came to visit us we discussed the limitations of the boat and the new requirements that have emerged in recent years.
Why buy a new boat when you can improve what you have? Here begins the refitting work CMM Yacht Service that will make a Pershing 62 a new yacht, with obvious aesthetic changes, particularly for the salon and the dinette.
UPPER SALOON
The distribution of the interior has been completely transformed in order to make the focal point of the yacht and add value with all the comforts and details as desired by the owner.Entering in this environment it is absorbed by a feeling of brightness and space.Diamond is the color chosen to cover the couch and furniture of the living room, an elegant combination that allows you to create a relaxing day area, very cozy and sophisticated aesthetics.The aesthetic has been integrated with domotics so allow the owner to manage his boat directly from his smartphone or tablet so so we have eliminated the need for multiple remote controls to change TV channel and radio.
DINETTE
The cooking hob has been replaced with a functional and attractive finish in corian, very strong, easy to clean and aesthetically very refined, a perfect combination for the application in the ‘kitchen.
we have installed retractable LED lights that create light scenes.
CMM team has dismantled the old teak in the cockpit and was placed on new teak stave by stave.
The goal of the project was to give comfort to the rooms, functional spaces and renovate the ship plant, enhancing still more the Pershing 62.
Tecma sanitation hoses
When it comes to marine sanitation, you simply want to rely on the best quality and expertise. The Tecma macerator toilets, bidets and accessories have proven to be reliable and of high quality. Thetford Marine now offers Tecma HosePlus rubber and HoseHelix PVC sanitation hoses. High quality sanitation hoses which are extremely flexible and give you the perfect odor barrier.
Flexible and very low permeability
The hoses are extremely flexible with a low bend radius to facilitate easy installation, even in tight spaces. Both hose types are reinforced with strong steel wires and offer different level of odor barrier. This way you can select your best choice based on quality and price requirements.

Tecma HosePlus
The Tecma HosePlus is a high quality butyl odor shield rubber hose with a double wiring steel reinforcement. The quality level is proven by the very low permeability level of less than 1%. That keeps bad smells in the hoses and prevents them to be spread out of the marine sanitation system. Its permeability is 10 times less than SBR or NBR rubber hoses. As known from Thetford Marine, we offer a global service network to serve you anywhere. The Tecma HosePlus comes with a 5-year warranty.
Tecma HoseHelix
The Tecma HoseHelix is a high quality PVC hose with a steel wire reinforcing helix and good flexibility. It is a crush resistant hose. This sanitation hose has an odor shield to limit the spread of odors. The HoseHelix has a white smooth extruded surface.
Good to know
The hoses are based on the great Tecma experience on marine sanitation system. The Tecma HosePlus and HoseHelix are currently available in Ø 38 mm/ 1 ½”ID for sewage systems.

Mondolfo 18 November 2016 - In an increasingly competitive and constantly changing market, the ability to react quickly with professionalism and dynamism to the demands of consumers is essential in the world of pleasure boating. CMM Yacht Service fully represents an important entrepreneurial reality in the Marche region in the after-sales service sector.
The CMM adventure begins in 2004, when Matteo Cervasi decides to found a company specialized in assistance and refitting of pleasure boats that in a few years has grown both in terms of personnel and professionalism.
The company has been recognized as a Master Service point for the Ferretti group (Pershing, Itama, Riva, Mochi Craft, Custom Line), yet another confirmation of the competence and professionalism of CMM technicians.
Since 2004 she has dealt with maintenance and refitting of countless yachts and mega yachts on which various types of important work have been carried out, such as painting, furniture making, plant and engine maintenance and verification of on-board electronics.
CMM Yacht Service offers a complete service to boat owners at the Mondolfo Adriatic site and in the Tyrrhenian Sea at the Torre Annunziata facility. In recent years it has had a full expansion allowing it to carry out important work also on foreign territory, last year the first office on the French Riviera was opened in the city of Antibes; this first "showcase" will be followed in the coming years by the opening of other offices.
